Importance of API Monogram Licenses
API Monogram Program:
The API monogram program is a voluntary licensing program designed to facilitate the consistent manufacturing of a product that conforms to applicable API specifications. API monogram certification is highly recognized across the world as the seal of approval for quality and reliable product performance. The program requires that manufacturers maintain the capabilities, including the resources, processes and technology, to manufacture products that fall within the scope of licensing. The API monogram program gives licensed manufacturers are given the authority to use the API monogram registered mark to equipment that meets the requirements.
API monogram certification is applicable for the manufacturers of production equipment, drilling equipment and now, even refinery equipment, the API monogram program lets companies demonstrate the product are meeting the global quality requirements and usability in the global petroleum and natural gas industry market.
The monogram licensee must implement, maintain and continually improve your quality management system to meet the oil and gas industry’s quality management system specification of API Spec Q1. The API monogram licenses are only issued after an on-site audit has verified that the facility meets the monogram program requirements. Licensees are required to maintain continued management system conformity to API Spec Q1 standard as well as the API product certification and program requirements. In order for a license to remain active, the licensee must go through a renewal audit after each 3 years period.
API Monogram Mark:
More than 5,000 businesses across the globe from small entrepreneurial firms to large multinational organizations are authorized to use the API monogram and APIQR marks.
The API monogram is an API registered certification mark. Through the API monogram program, licensed manufacturers are given the authority to apply the mark to equipment that meets API product specification <!–

The API monogram mark is a protected trademark that is authorized for use by API through legally enforceable program requirements via contract agreements with the Licensees. The mark can only be applied to a new conforming product that is manufactured by the licensed organization at the licensed facility.
